About The Event
Kinetics is based on the remarkable true story of two people seemingly at polar opposites. As Rose tries to come to terms with her diagnosis, an unlikely friendship springs up when Lukas comes tumbling into her life. But will the bond between them be strong enough when things go wrong?
Brave, honest and humorous, Kinetics was originally a stage play written by Dorset-based actor and writer Sue Wylie, based on her own experiences of being diagnosed with Parkinson's seven years ago. The play toured to great critical acclaim and, following recurring demand for it to be seen on a nationwide basis, a crowd funding campaign saw Kinetics turned into a film.
Sue Wiley the writer and star will be be available to do a Q and A session afterwards and we will have tea, coffee and cake for a donation as refreshments. All proceeds to the Hall and the Parkinsons Society.
The doors open at 6.30pm and the film starts at 7,00pm so dont forget this early start time.
